You may return most new, unused items within 30 days of delivery for a refund. All returned items are subject to a 20% restocking fee which will be deducted from your refund. All returned items will be inspected to ensure they are in sell-able condition. Refunds will not be issued on used or damaged items.
Refunds are issued in the original form of payment. If you paid by credit or debit card, refunds will be sent to the card-issuing bank within five business days of receipt of the returned item. Please contact the card-issuing bank with questions about when the credit will be posted to your account.
Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Proof of purchase must be included with the returned item. Include proof of purchase in the form of a copy of your original DLP Lamp Source invoice, an E-Mail order confirmation, or a credit card/bank statement reflecting the purchase date, purchase price, and your name and address. Check the Refund box on the original invoice or write the word “REFUND” at the top of documentation. Include the proof of purchase in the box with the lamp. Refunds will not be processed without proof of purchase and will instead be sent to recycling.
Return the lamp to DLP Lamp Source using the shipping method of your choice (UPS, FedEX, US Mail). We suggest using a shipping method that will provide you with a tracking number to ensure proof of delivery. Please take care to repackage the lamp sufficiently to avoid damage in transit. Refunds will not be issued on damaged merchandise.
The warranty period for TV and Projector lamps is 6 months from the date of purchase. The warranty is valid for one replacement lamp during the warranty period. All lamps returned for warranty replacement will be tested. Please contact us for warranty information on other types of Specialty Lamps.
Obtaining a Warranty Replacement Lamp
To obtain an warranty replacement please follow the instructions below.
1. Return the defective lamp to DLP Lamp Source using the shipping method of your choice (UPS, FedEX, US Mail). We suggest using a shipping method that will provide you with a tracking number to ensure proof of delivery.
2. Include proof of purchase in the form of a copy of your original DLP Lamp Source invoice or a credit card or bank statement reflecting the purchase date, purchase price and your name & address. Write the words "WARRANTY REPLACEMENT" at the top of the documentation so we know how to process the package. Include the proof of purchase in the box with your defective lamp. Warranty replacements will not be issued without proof of purchase.
Replacement lamps are generally processed and shipped within 24-48 hours of receipt. Warranty replacements are shipped via standard ground shipping (3-5 business days). Expedited shipping is available for an additional charge. Contact us for details.
